Privacy Policy

What we collect when you register for early access, why we collect it, where it is kept, and how to have it removed.

Last updated 22 August 2026

Wilow exists for people going through cancer treatment and the people helping them. That is a private thing to be living through, so we have tried to collect as little as possible, and to explain plainly what happens to what we do collect.

Who we are

Wilow is a product of Australian Techsolutions Alliance Pty Ltd (ABN 15 671 184 053), trading as TechSpot, based in Melbourne, Australia. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that company.

This policy covers the Wilow website and the early access registration form. It does not yet cover the Wilow platform itself, which is not open to the public. When it opens, we will publish a fuller policy covering it, and we will tell you before anything changes for you.

What we collect

Only what you type into the registration form:

WhatRequired?Why we ask
Your nameYesSo we can address you properly
Your email addressYesTo send your early access link. This is the only way we contact you.
Whether you are an individual or an organisationYesIndividuals and organisations are onboarded differently
Your postcodeOptionalTo help us understand where to launch first, and later to surface services near you
Organisation name and what you offerOptionalOnly asked of services, educators and clinicians

We do not buy information about you from anyone, and we do not add to your record from other sources.

What we deliberately do not collect

We do not record that you are a patient

The form asks whether you are someone in treatment, a carer, a provider or a clinician. If you choose someone in treatment or a carer, we store you simply as an individual. We never write down that a named person is undergoing cancer treatment.

We keep an anonymous running count of how many people chose each option, so we know roughly who is interested. That count holds no names, no email addresses and no dates, so it cannot be traced back to anyone.

Providers and clinicians are recorded as such, because a professional role is not private health information about the person holding it.

We also do not collect any medical details, diagnosis, treatment information, symptoms, date of birth, phone number, postal address, or payment details. Registering for early access is free.

Why we collect it

One reason only: to contact you about Wilow early access. That means letting you know when it opens and sending you a link to get started.

We will not use your details to send you newsletters, marketing about other products, or anything you did not ask for. We will not sell them, rent them, or share them for anyone else's marketing. Ever.

Where it is kept

Registrations are stored in a private spreadsheet held in Google Workspace, which is protected by password and only opened by the small number of people named below. Google stores this data on servers that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States.

This means your information may be held overseas. We have chosen a provider with recognised security practices, but you should know that overseas storage is involved before you register. If you would rather not have your details stored this way, please email us instead of using the form and we will handle your interest separately.

Who can see it

Only the people working directly on Wilow at Australian Techsolutions Alliance Pty Ltd. Nobody else has access.

We will not disclose your information to anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by Australian law.

How long we keep it

We keep your registration until early access opens and you have had the chance to join, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

If Wilow does not proceed, or if early access has closed and you did not take it up, we delete your registration. You never have to chase us to do that, though you are very welcome to.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media trackers. We do not know who visits, and we are not counting.

The one thing stored on your device

If you use the text size buttons, your choice is remembered on your own device so the site stays readable next time. It never leaves your browser and it tells us nothing.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so tells Google the address of the device requesting them. We use it because it makes the site load quickly, but we mention it because it is the one request this site makes to another company.

Your rights

Your information is yours. At any time you can ask us to:

Email admin@techspot.net.au and we will act on it within 30 days, usually much sooner. We will not ask you why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

If you are unhappy

Please tell us first at admin@techspot.net.au. We would rather hear it and fix it.

If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly amending this page.
